Sony DSLT-A77 and 16-50 f/2.8 SSM hands-on review

i mostly go for a77 with grip n extra batt. My 16-35 would be nice on it. Heh heh!

I also need to find a good video cam replacement. Cause current still on tapes n produce sd video. Since i always follow tour grp, need to get a long video recording when on bus.

But mostly will get a77 cause of the features that not found on a850. Heh heh!
I thought u would say.. the 100mm marco would be nice on a77. Why isit the other way round for you. Wide angle on Crop camera when u had a FF.. sounds werid. But hey. Whatever works for you. Cheers.

Camping at Sony store... Hope that it will be out before the race.

Dun think it will be ready before F1 SGP, unless you fly to Japan to get it. Heard it will be out in Jap end Sep.

Cause I wanted to own the 24-70mm but my 28-75mm is "blocking" the way. So, a 16-35mm would be a 24-52mm in APS-C. Anyway, will invest on some more lenses if got A77. Let's wait and see how much local selling and worth or not as USD really low!

Japan official date is 14 oct.

anyways Rashkae why were you chosen? you must have been really lucky...

Yes very true. Even hollywood movies are not recorded in a single clip of more than 10mins. You still need editing if you intend to be a videographer.

If just day to day life videos, imho any clip more than 2 mins normally will bored the audience.

True if you're doing narrative work where shots are planned and set up. Having the 5 or 10 min limit is no issue. But when recording events, documenting unpredictable situations that timing cap is very annoying to say the least.

I guess that's where the VG20 comes in, I really like what it offers however the asking price for it is just a bit too steep.

Hope the A77/A65 does not have the same sensor overheating problem that the A33/A55 suffered from. And it would offer more control in video mode similar to what Canon offers.
