Yes only if you have checked in the international flight for departure. You'll be charged GST for arrival flight.

Even for shops outside of transit in T3, all no 7% GST charge...

For me to get something, mostly get it nearby if different not much. Its seem like they willing to give you more discount as they 'feels' that you will be back as nearby. I can get RX100 at good price but need to go to town. Ended up i buy near my hse n the price also same after freebies. If ask me go airport n buy, unless its $100 or more lesser else i can say forget it.

I dont mind waiting beside the SONY shop on that day and pass him the money for him to go in and help me with the purchase.

You are right to be cautious. It's one thing to ask for a deposit. It's another to ask for full payment upfront when it's a total stranger.

I first approached him for the deal two days back, and I received my sparkling new RX100 this afternoon after transferring the full payment at noon. I also received the official receipt from SonyStyle dated today, less than an hour after the transfer. He is definitely someone worthy of trust.

While it definitely pays to be cautious, it wouldn't hurt to have some faith in a member who has enjoyed good reputation here. After all, the guy has no obligation to trade with anyone who is not willing to abide by his terms. The transfer by POSB also offers a trail in the event anyone decides to back out of the deal.

Took some handheld twilight around my blocks. Very please with the effect, no need tripod and yet so clear and sharp even at F1.8. Overall, great camera but I still dont like some features, haha!

Performs like my ex panny LX3... Not a leap of performance... except for the fast AF and the small portable size
Maybe because my other camera is a Fuji X-Pro1...
