I have the a panasonic LX3 before, the IQ is good but I have traded it to HX9V due to its limited zoom. There's always give and take

Any idea on availability and pricing in Singapore? Wish the zoom included 24mm to 80mm (wide angle is the way to go). Canon addressed this in the S100 but it's a much smaller sensor. Also the mega pixel overkill (IMO) is gonna affect low light street shooting. Hopefully, Sony somehow managed to get past this.

at the 1 incher sensor class, there are no other camera to compare other than Nikon J/V 1 .

But there are lx5, x10, XZ-1 , G12 , G1X, S100/95 in the market , but different sensor size

The LX7 with 1 inch sensor could be announced next week, but still bigger body size than RX100. The RX100 is a game changer, imo.
