Sony DSC-RX100

oh u mean totally no stock in the market now?

I got the last set from SLRR @730... Sony Funan left last set too on last Sunday but @798. I dunno about the rest, heard that people r snapping it up since the price dropped significantly upon announcement of RX100 Mk2. Good luck bro.

Mind if I ask if this camera perform well in low light & macro shots?

Yes for both! At least to my expectations, which are not very high... :bsmilie:

Just asking...Is there any warranty card inside the box?

Sony stop issuing warranty card inside the box. You just has to register on sony website to check validity.

A relative borrowed my RX100 and shot these full auto in Bhutan. Don't need a DSLR anymore....

True, but not so bad lar. Besides, most DSLR users are also newbies who can't compose either. Perhaps I should have cropped a little.

Anybody bring your RX100 to winter country (>-0) before, care to share your experience.

My friend brought it to Korea during winter snowing season (don't know neg how many deg) and he say no problem at all.

Those are beautiful shots by RX100. DSLR is still good.

I agree. I have the RX-100 II. WHILE it take very good pictures, inherently it does not have a view finder. The way a compact is used introduces camera shake. Serious photography still needs a DSLR.

It's a pity the EVF is quite expensive and makes it difficult to pocket when on. I use the clearviewer (link below) with my RX100. It's cheap. Very effective and folds flat against the RX100 so you can put it in your pocket. Highly recommended.
