this is wat I know. I went to MS colour, DSLR n DC price r cheaper than retail price. BUT!!! if u bring along the 7% discount coupon, they also deduct another 7% for ur purchase. hope somebody can get the point.....

Actually no need the coupon just tell them they will deduct...

The A99 at SLRR/Click! was around $3250 during the sony days last year... Inclusive of a herringbone bag, 1 additional battery... And a PWP option...

Update: the price was quoted $3205 with bag, batt and memory card back in Nov 2012...

Given the limited Sony a-mount lenses for FF, excl the older km mounts, what is the common lens used on the A99.

Hmm.. I think it's quite subjective ba... Up to individual's preference... I think most will pair it with either the CZ or G lenses...

I happened to make use of the Sony Days to get hold of my 1st Nex (Nex-6) from the world of alpha dslr. Got it for 1249 as mentioned in Sony website with all the freebies.

But I guess I was not aware of the GST refund, and the sales guy at harvey Norman never mentioned either. Now that I have paid the GST, I am planning to go back and ask for a refund. Just wondering , in the Sony offer it has GST offer excludes Digital imaging accessories. Does that include Nex-6L?

Any input will be great.

It does include the Nex 6.

Thanks for the reply. I went to Harvey Norman today and showed them the Sony days offer leaflet and guess what, they gave me the option to buy for the GST claimed.

So the actual price of Nex-6 this week is 1167.

Was at SLR Revo yesterday and they said the RX100 going for only $824 during this promo. I got it for $822 during the last Sony promo last year. It's a good price.
