Really? Well I'm not their regular customer anyway, just curiously asked because of that shop was so lively at that time.
I thought no hurt asking them and just happened they said new stock will come soon on Tuesday 29 Feb.

That's expensive. SLR selling $1357 but no stock. Coming mid March. I preordered one.
Not sure if the price remains the same as Sony up the price of the lens already :/
At least that price is still cheaper than RRP. SLR stocks are alwaYS very limited unfortunately. ...

I would suggest to approach the shops to see if they will accept pre-order and deposits. Normally if you pay a deposit, they would be more motivated to secure one for you. For better than RRP pricing, it would be best to call up the shops or get an E-qoutes from the usual friendly stores that carries Alpha products.
Most Amazon orders dont ship direct to SG. You need to add the 7% gst and shipping on the cost to see whether its still worth it.

FYI: the stock of this lens is control by sony. Gotta go to the camera shop to place an order for SG. For this lens retailer cannot stock up and pay later, its a pay as goods arrived in store basis. My bro just got one and the warranty was type in nicely by sony with the retailer name, and when it was release from sony and when warranty will expire. kinda cool and exquisite. Overalls Lens performance is sharp at wide open n bokehlicious. Corner slightly soft at wide open but ok to my eyes. Best nex lens as of current.
