The crop factor switch is interesting though. Wonder how they handle the viewfinder with that.

Thanks. shhhh that's the miniatured A-100 that SONY been experimenting. Now all lens super small, can carry in pocket easily. :bsmilie:

If there is a switch for 1.5x crop conversion on the body, the digital lens is still very usable..
The only thing is that lens price may be dropping very fast..

Actually, even if the new sensor is FF, but with higher resolution, you can still use your DT lenses. The only thing you’ll have to do is to crop it manually afterwards. Your picture will still end up with 1 to1.5x crop perhaps, because the vignetting is usually more severe at wide and may disappear at the tele-end.

It could also easily be done in camera too if Sony decide to include it.

Well I am still using FF lenses... but perhaps need to upgrade cos the lens res may not match that of the sensor... KM 17-35mm is about the best there is in this range... and the Minolta 100-400mm also... these 2 cannot change... maybe the 24-135SP from Tamron can change... if Sony has something that slots in between...
