Just bought a NEX C3 last weekend and loving it. Got the A to E mount adaptor, 55-200 (SAM) and 35/1.8 (all from one seller). So, including the kit 18-55, got total of 3 lens. With the 35/1.8 around, i decided to get rid of the 16/2.8 pancake (not sure if i will regret later on though).

i collected the free Nat Geo bag for the pre-launch. Wow, it is SUPER small. Really just enough for the Nex3 + len .. nothing more! haha

I had my Nex5 for about a year. Its a great cam no doubt, but sad to say the lens line up sucks big time. Ppl will say its gd because it can mount Lecia, canon, nikon, micro4/3 etc. But I need AF instead of MF. I was waiting for a E mount 50f1.8 till now still smell no smoke.. Ah yeah about the adapter to A mount u can forget about it. It focus really very slow!!!

I understand how you feel. If i'm not wrong, a 30mm macro is just around the corner.

eh i feel u.. if they can come out a new adapter that AF as fast. it would be perfect or a camera thats slim as NEX but A instead of E. ^^. but well..like others mention some E mount will be launching in abit. take sometime..its still kinda new.

if you follow SAR, you'll notice that they've posted an article on the new E to A mount adapter which allows for faster AF due to the Translucent Mirror built in.

That's quite funny. The current E to A mount adapter is completely hollow just like those of other mirrorless cameras. Putting any objects inside translucent or not would interfere with passage of light and would definitely affect the final image quality.
Yes, it would turn it into an SLT.

Yea heard about it.. Since its SAR..hmm.. i mean if they really want to design 1..then its quite funny if they still making E mounts. Since they jolly well know user will buy that and use their A mounts. Or maybe not since some mention before it might enable faster AF at the compensation of IQ. Hmm..shall see.. if its ever gonna launch. ^^

if that mention..hmm are you saying SLT IQ arent better or as good as SLR? dont get me wrong..not flaming just asking.. because i dont use them yet.
For me, i dun tink $75 should affect ur decision. $75 u can earn back easily but the camera u buy, u're stuck with it until u buy the next one. so better to get the one u really want if the price premium is small. Long term satisfaction is more important.
Go and play around with both and see which one suit your needs. I agreed that $75 is too little for any good decision. Hmm maybe the margin will be bigger when NEX-5N is out?
Then you will ask again to get NEX-5 or NEX-5N
NEX-5
+ 1080p HD Video (if you seldom take video, this one feature quite useless or good to have )
+ solid body and grip (it is important as the camera is not big and grip is more important)
- 14 Mpx and less IQ (seriously the difference in IQ is not significant)
NEX-C3
+ Additional photo effects (if you use those photo effects, good to have and create some fun pictures)
+ 16Mpx and better IQ
+ Colourful pink
(well colour will appeal to gals or attract attention, but NEX itself with a small body but huge lens already a head turner)- 720p video
- plasticky body and less solid grip
