I love the sensor in my Nex. It allows me to shoot indoor in places like restaurants without using flash.

Sales person from Sony marina Square told me it will be launch this month but no firmed up date as yet.
Had a hands-on session on the C3 just now.
First impression: feels small. Somehow the rounded corners made is visually smaller than nex3.
But side by side comparison, the C3 will only be slightly smaller than Nex3.
And somehow, i dun like the C3 on/off switch. Feels awkward.
Perhaps i am too used to the Nex3.
I also dont like the feel of the body, somehow, it feels more plasticky than Nex3.
Tried high ISO, based on what i can see on of the playback on the LCD screen, the noise improvement is not huge.
Not sure how it will fare when view on monitor though.
Will try to do another hands-on and see how it feels the second time.
Off-topic:
Cant wait to try the Panny G3 and GF3 on the 8th.
Based on the dummy model, i slot in a real 14mm lens, it is really small, like a P&S.
With the 20mm lens, the larger size of the lens makes it looks like Nex with the 16mm lens.

Yes. C3 been available since 24june.
And all those that preorder GF3/G3, collected sets today.
I was working and just came back hotel, too late to go out to try the new Gs.
And EP3 will be available 22july (too bad, wont get try EP3).
is the picture quality of C3 same or better than nEX 3?
I hope so! Coz got my 'lesson' from panesonic. apparantly nothing to do with sensor but the lens. GF1 uses 20mm lens which suppose to be better. GF2 uses 14mm lens. End up silly me got to buy both GF2 and 20mm lens.. -_-"
dxomark has just tested NEXC3, proved that the sensor is almost the same with A580/D7000/K5, ISO/Tone reproduction are exactly identical, but Dynamic Range (DR) a little bit worse, probably due to less effective 12bit A/D converter (to save energy?).
hmm but A580/D7000/K5 are not the NEX series? Juz wanna be sure C3 will be better than NEX 3 and 5..

Simple...wait for the C3 to be released then pay a visit to SonyStyle. Tried out the C3 and then the NEX 3 and NEX5.
Fyi, the sensor of the NEX 5 is already very good and able to produce top-notch photos as posted by the members here.

i just bought it. It's out at Cathay. $1099 c/w free bag + 8gb SDHC card.
