Yes. Any SD card above 4GB now are SDHC.

BUt taking night shoot or long exposure using SD card and CF card, during the processing and preview from the SD and CF, SD is lacking compare with CF. And even transfering into computer, SD is lacking.:think:

Unless SD card technology goes like 30mb/s or more, i will prefer buying A500 for my back up. :bsmilie:

Is there a difference in PQ for different cards?

I've always assumed since it was digital, the difference would probably be non-existant or at most not humanly possible to differenciate.

It's like copying an mp3 back and forth 1000x wouldn't effect the quality.

Newbie interested to join the Alpha... waiting for next Credit Card Cycle before signing on the dotted lines for the A550 =p

If i intend to get the Sony SAL 18250 lens (PWP promotion $699), should I get the Body alone or shd i still get with the 18-55mm kit lens? Body alone and Kit lens package difference is $100.

The 18-250 is sharper and MUCH more convenient than the 18-55.

IMO, if u really buy the 18-250, u wont be using the 18-55 anymore, and it will just sit nicely in ur dry cabinate.

So u decide if u wanna get body or kit.
