Behind the scenes is, as expected, utter chaos. The models all need to be prepped, made up, dressed, etc in-between the shows. So us photogs took great care not to get in the way of the backstage staff and of course stayed out of the areas where the models were getting dressed....

One important point to note is the battery life on the a99. Though it's rated for 550 shots, I shot well over 1000 images, using a ssm lens (drains more power), writing raw+jpeg and still had 33% left.

Jokes aside ... it was great meeting you and finding out so many interesting things about the SONY cameras, especially the genealogy of the lenses from the transitions of Minolta to Sony.

Yup it's actually pretty interesting how Sony maintained a lot of the classic Minolta designs.

It's just center-weighted metering, AWB and using the Sigma 12-24 at 12mm. No need for ladder or chair, I just held the A99 above my head. The articulating LCD and PDAF in live view work brilliantly.
