nice results!

I am surprise by the flare resistance of the J3 shot into the Sun.

For the CV15, do you do any special processing for the edge issues? (are the edges are cropped off in the 5x7 format?)

CV35/2.5...interesting... is it sharp from edge to edge stopped down to f8, f11?
Trying to see if there is a good RF 35mm walk around lens to consider (one that does not burn too big a hole in the pocket, of course) :D

Thx

Thanks. Sorry for the late reply, missed your post earlier.

J3, never felt that flare is an issue with it. Just need to find another angle that works for you.

CV15 - Nope for my photos, i didnt do any special treatment for the edge. Just applied the same presets i used for the rest of my photos. The CV15 shots are not cropped specifically cause of any edge issues. I dont recall, but i occasionally crop my photos for composition. So the CV15 shots might or might not be cropped.

For the CV35/2.5, sorry i cant answer that. I rarely shoot past f5.6. I think it's fairly affordable and pretty small. Quite surprised with it, as i just got the lens just before the trip.

Going Everest Base Camp end of the year, still considering if i should lug all these lenses or just bring a zoom.

Haha, will do. will do. Have not tried higher ISO then 800 on my 7R. F4 seems not favorable under slight low light. 7S triumphs with this glass!

second that.... think all the F4 glasses will be a perfect match for the A7S with its night vision sensor..

Hi

Sharing a picture from my Nex 5N. Sorry I got no A7 camera.

another quick comparison of bokeh/rendering.

The rokinon renders the scene a little less contrasty and slightly more redish/brownish compared to the FD when both were set to a WB of Cool White Fluorescent
