Few more A7r with Leica-M Elmarit 90

All shots are taken wide open and set to 1/100 ( I think except those outdoor shots)

It is heavy and unbalanced. But it surprisingly auto focuses faster than the 24mm 1.4L and is tack sharp...

this setup Canon 70-200 f2.8 plus A7r must be heavy :-) nice work on the monochrome

Once upon a time in a cosy French Roasted Chicken restaurant... "Poulet" in the eyes of FE 55/1.8

Still trying out the Contax N 17-35 with the A7. Find it very hard to focus when it is too bright, too much street/artificial lights using both EVF and LCD. And noise at low light is quite evident at iso 1600 onwards.

Maybe should just get the FE zoom and automates everything.

Food there are nice ordered the chicken salad thought it has more green but it has more chicken instead.

Haha. One man's poison is another man's meat. Keke. Kids nowadays just love fast foods.

For scenes like that, just stop down and focus at infinity. Wide angles will have enough DOF to take care of everything.

Hi

Have been wanting to post more here, but haven't found the time to do so. Here's some more for a start!

how do you like the new zeiss zoom?

Nice series bro Red dawn I like the fire works and the sunset

Well, it's not mine (just borrowed it for about 2 hours) but I like the weighty feel of it compared to the kit lens, which I also have. Image quality is good (but then I didn't really test f4 - shot mostly at f11), just a little tiny bit softer in the corners (however most lenses are to be honest). Build quality feels excellent - only thing I don't like is the extending front portion whenever you zoom in. I think for the expected $1500++, it's a pretty good deal for an all around zoom lens.

This lens is the only thing which saves my A7R from being sold.
