some shots from a new purchase. cv 50mm f1.5 chrome edition M mount @F1.5

last one. sigma 120-300 + 2x TC, 600mm cropped 50% roughly. wasn't an optimal night for shooting the moon due to light cloud cover. lets wait for a clear night and try again.

today supposed to be 15th day of the lunar month though, yeah bit cloudy. But some serious gears you have to shoot the moon. I saw some local astrology photos on some forum, fascinating pictures. Imagine A7r being used to shoot astro photos

actually i tried editing and boosting the contrast in post. much more details now. same shot edited

m43 @ an equivalent of 600mm can give nice moon shots, better than cropped full-frame photos. That also goes for some birding shots I saw here. Gomen... If you need reach either you better be prepared to carry more kg and to fork out more money for the best quality in full-frame or you use a smaller sensor for that job. Cropping full-frame shots into the nirvana doesn't look that amazing...
