A7 with 28mm Elmarit

Definitely provide better grip, but can only go either VG or Gariz

Ah... one of the legendary 85mm lens but pretty heavy... Nice shot bro... How's the gariz case serving u?

ya... i kind of prefer the grip on the Gariz. with the VG although there is additional space at the bottom for the pinky finger, it just seems too slim. not fat enough for a comfortable grip.

but the vertical orientation buttons are definitely useful when holding the camera for portaits and especially with a heavier lens

cropped abit closely for my liking composition wise, but makes me hungry!

I don't mind the distance but the lighting isn't good, it doesn't look yummy. Anyway, I'm still getting hungry. ;)

i am actually quite impressed with the kit lens. AF is quick and accurate enough for me.

here are a couple from the kit lens, ooc jpg, resize:

iso2000, f5, 1/160 @ 56mm

iso4000, f3.5, 1/100 @ 28mm

iso12800, f3.5, 1/100s @ 28mm

and here are a few from SAL85f28, ooc jpg, resize:

iso12800, f2.8, 1/1600s @ 85mm

iso2500, f2.8, 1/160s @ 85mm

cheers & take care!

Wah....this picture a bit stalkerish leh..so near...she didn't hear the shutter when you took the photo?

Nopez. Though I'm pretty near, d ambient noise around the mall makes my shutter sound seems negligible. Haha

hehe that's also y the A7 is a better street camera. silent electronic first shutter, so by the time the subject hears anything the exposure is alrdy over

Better for shooting critters, too. For me that was one of the deciding factors over the A7r.

Anyone who doesn't appreciate its quietness should try shooting with a Pentax 7. I could flush a whole flock of foraging birds with one click--except for the one that fell over cuz he thought he'd been shot! ;)

What are you doing there? Spying out PIN numbers? ;)

Look at what he focused on
I know. ;) Personally I'm not a big fan of those street shots which are looking like taken by a stalker, that's not good photography. I think that's a bad development on the internet, I saw better street photography before digi cams hit the market. Sorry for my criticism. :|
