Another one. Noticed the bokeh is not round? The lens designer needs to grind down the rear optic to avoid the camera mirror.

haha i normally go for +0.7 EV myself for manual lenses.

anyone with a sigma 30mm F2.8 emount and 60mm F2.8 emount care to use a screwdriver to remove the plastic rear lens baffle to test how well the lens covers the A7/r sensor? Some folks on dpreview are reporting pretty good performance with baffles removed.

the rear baffle is a piece of plastic secured by 3 screws.

i myself removed the plastic baffle on the SEL 10-18 to test, and find that the vignette from 17-18mm when used with the A7 disappears with the baffle removed. no difference to vignette between 10-11mm.

DIY expert... U go wif EV+0.7?? Wun that over exposed in daylight?

haha i find the A7 underexposing more often than not with manual lenses, and my preference is for brighter shots hehe vs shots that are too dark. Even on Canon I usually +ev by 0.3-0.7.

I feel +0.3 is just rite for me. Keke

haha depends on the lens used la. for example the cv 15 4.5 i find usually needs the +0.7 keke but good thing about this sony sensor is that highlights can be recovered rather well in photoshop even with jpegs.

N d new 54MP sensor from Sony will be even more awesome...

wow 54MP Sensor size doesn't change amaze how they could pack all those MP :-)

Compared to the CPU in your computer 54MP on a full-frame sensor are ancient technology. ;)

another set from the 10-18 from today. mostly 12-13mm at F8

hard to compare the two different functions and different inputs and different technology. although they are related both are silicon base but hard to compare the two bro... In Camera it's not only the MP that's matter but also the sensor (pixel) size smaller so they need to strike a balance but sensor technology is evolving who know we may get not only 100MP but 1GP :-)
