Shallower DoF would have killed the mobile phone effect.

hehe yea it was a good buy. SEL10-18. bought it new from shop somemore haha....this lens is hard to come by nw on CS buy and sell forums.

results are surprisingly good on the A7 with crop mode deactivated.

More poisons from Minolta 58/1.2 wide open on A7

Bro overworked as my model again.


Then got mannequins as my models too.


Also got little boy as my model.


Some lady photos as my model.


Once again some swimming mannequins at Sony Wisma store.
 

Bokeh preference is highly subjective, but i feel that this 58f1.2 produces "busy" bokeh that is not very smooth. Maybe too many lights creating this effect?

If it is smooth, the background should smoothen or "melt" into the picture?

Yes... This lens is definitely able to depending on d situations... I have yet to perfect it... Keke :bsmilie:
