Nice to see some Contax G lenses on the A7/R... Sharp as its reputation stands... Very soothing rendering in your shots...

awww nice series of your cute bundle of joy

As U need the MD to NEX adaptor, it is indeed abit front heavy but still manageable. U bought the A7 and the Rokkor 58/1.2? Good deal?

What about the LTM Canon 50/1.2, does this constitute poison as well?
If my A7R sells, I might see if I can poison one of you with it, LOL.

I have d canon 50/1.4 ltm so d 50/1.2 ltm doesn't intrigued me unlike d rokkor 58/1.2.

Haha enough of the poison already...dang I was seduced by the bokeh coming out from the 58 Rokkor, not just over here but from multiple users so I know I just need to try one out myself :bsmilie:

For my walkabout lens, I will just stick to my 50 Summicron

I bought the A7R at launch from Cathay and the 58 Rokkor separately. I think the lens is slowly creeping up to a legendary status among it's legion of admirers. Mine's a pretty good copy and come complete with hood so...???

Anyway the issue is that the A7/R's bodies are pretty slim and lighter than almost every SLR, so most legacy lens are going to feel a bit front heavy when paired with A7/R. Anyway will be getting a Novoflex adapter collar soon I think that will help balanced the combo out a little?

Kool... Enjoy...

Wondering if any one tested this legendary lens on the A7/R?

Like d mood of this shot... DOF could have been shallower... *Personal preference* :bsmilie:

Shallower DoF would have killed the mobile phone effect.
