Bro, how's the weight n feeling if this w the adaptor? Tempting to get this.

Its quite a hefty setup... Haha... Weighty but AF is quite fast in good light.. Hope FE comes out wif a great 135mm f/2 lens... that is not as heavy...

Hopefully, n looks like it... So we can do away using adaptors.

This is the first time i was using the FE2470F4 for a proper shoot.
Initial tests showed it to be soft and lacking the zeiss character.
However, after today, with proper lighting and proper conditions, editing the photos was easy and this lens is pretty sharp and does have some zeiss character to it.
Overall,i think i will like this lens.

can someone tell me if this is the typical landacape corner/edge performance of a FE35 on an A7r?

somehow i feel the corners are not sharp compared to my expectations, even at F8 and F11. Somehow my sigma 30 2.8 seems sharper at F4

F2.8

F8

F11

Nice Work!

7R + Metabones + Sigma 85mm 1.4.

Great combo and super sharp wide open

Good B&W treatment of a nice moment.

Good to see your usage comments (also the user impression on the FE24-70 )
Gives an idea of the limitations of the camera.

great shot!

Thanks. I went to try my hands again on the ROKAF aerobatics, this time with slightly better knowledge of the routine and in less glaring sunlight. It is still a hit and miss affair.

This lens is performing very well - corners are good, resolving power is good, hoshi is nice (not too many blades like modern lenses) .

Yeah, corners can be better, but no complaining too much about it.
I think its really decent, esp for the price I got it.

I gave in though and got a Voigtlander 12/5.6 as the size was too much of an attraction :D
