Damn im a huge fan of sonnar design. But sonnar's seem to suffer from a lot of CA. I'm considering buying either the MS Optical or Mitakon no thanks to you :)

Value for money wise mitakon wins hands down. Ms optical for its compact size and its bokeh and rendering has more character.

Wont go wrong with any of the 2

Sonnetar definitely sings more pleasant than d mitakon. Keke

Thanks.
This is the voigtlander 12mm f5.6.
It's a rangefinder m mount lens.
Yes, it's a manual lens

icic thx~ do u need a adapter for the A7 series? i guess so m mount lens?
Does funan sell this lens? price range?

The sonnar rendering is to die for. But seems very soft wide open for the MS Optical.

the ms optical is actually sharp where you focus it at, the dof is very narrow, and the sharpness will also depend on which distance you set the coma ring adjustment for the lens to correct coma at.

mine is optimised for the portrait distance.

the Mitakon on the other hand is just surprisingly sharp wide open at 0.95 and across most of the frame hehe....hence the value for money. Bokeh wise everything just melts away at 0.95.

Yes, you will need a M mount to NEX mount adapter.

Chiff sells Voigtlander lenses.
Here is the price list from his page:

The Makiton has surprised me.
I did not expect much from a China lens.

Hello, anyone can PM me where I can get the Mitakon 50/0.95 locally? Thank you.
