battle of the bokeh! A7S Mitakon 50mm F0.95 vs FD 85mm F1.2L. Obviously the FD85mm F1.2L is a way sharper lens,while the mitakon is a little glowy at 50cm MFD. typically a longer focal length lens will blur out the background better than a shorter len, but the F0.95 really works wonders for a 50mm Focal length.

Mitakon sure win, Nice bokeh and very sharp. its because the DOP very thin you think its not sharp but please take alook at the numbers at the CV 12 all very sharp.

hehe no la both got their plus n minus hehe... the FD85 is really biting sharp, can tell that even from the live view magnification when taking the shot hehe.... but the mitakon wins on the softer bokeh rendering thanks to its 0.95

I like the canon FD 85 overall image rendering for whatever reason I don't know hehe I just feel comfy looking at the FD images. Not saying Matikon not good it's nice sharp and nice bokeh.

In life at least u must owe a f1.2 for 50mm and f1.4 for 85mm whether minolta, pentax, canon etc...hahaha go for it...

Now using cv 35 1.2 to ease the urge.
