But a surprise is the porst 55/1.2 I think I found it sweet spot will post later when back home hehe
D810 then....
probably the FE 24-70 letting you down![]()
Yes, it was the D810 with the Nikkor 24-70.
Although both cameras share the same sensor and both using the same focal range of 24-70 lenses...the output during editing was like night and day.
It really is such a pity the FE2470 really is that bad compared to the N or C variants. Yes, the FE55 is awesome..but almost all the time i'm shooting wide at 35mm and below..All the composites of this photo was done at 24mm..so....Sony doesn't have anything FE mount that can match unfortunately.
This we know. The support for E full frame lens is less than ideal. This involves economy of scale in production as well as the commitment to the system. Nikon and Canon has that scale so any good lens can spread out to many camera bodies. Sony full frame just started and we will see how committed Sony is to the E system. For me AF, Ill stick to m43.
Same here as overworkedAF speed , accuracy & completeness of lens I'm sticking to m43. It's more of a one should be clear why one is buying into a system & the uses one has for each system. The Sony FF system for me trumps in that it's allows the use of legacy lenses in a very very user friendly way , and that's at their original FLs ; that to me is the draw of Sony FF. Native Sony FE lenses so far ? Only the FE55 is what I say is v.good, the rest are just decently good. But one thing though, I don't agree A7 is 'that' slow in focusing , that one is more of user competence than anything else.
