Isn't this thread ever so helpful to train up yr endurance bro? Dun worry about what others think about as long as you love the lens you are using to shoot and gets you to keep shooting. ;)

Guys post pix pls we OTing a lot now :-)

Here's some pix from my withdrawn lens from sale thread, Jupiter 8M this has a unique star like aperture will test more see if I could get some star like Bokeh balls. This is not the same as we all know Jupiter 8 with circular aperture.

I think this is best example of individual's preference so it's hard to really quantify such... let me give a twist to the saying "You Cant teach an old Dog New Tricks" here's my version:You can teach an old dog new tricks but at the end of the day he/she still a dog cant change him to cat or something... hope you guys get what I mean... lolz
I'm afraid that my point was missed! Your quote "You can't teach an old dog a new trick" and your version are both totally correct! And that the reason why the cat is still a cat while the dog is still the dog! I raised it up just because some of you guys keep mention about bokeh and just about the smoothness! Bokeh, in the end, is just the out-of-focus rendering character of the lens! Smooth or "distracting" will have its owned use on proper hand!

My photo for the thread to avoid my "too many words post" in this image sharing thread!

Hehe agree bro just saying also lens character is almost if not always individual preferences. We can achieve to have a pleasant bokeh out from known lenses that has unique bokeh hehe Oh example you posted or you can change the way you shoot and be mindful :-)

I love lenses with characters one example is cron-r 50mm E55 versus Cron-r 50mm series ViI I like both lens but I like the older series VII more due to its character hehe
