Thanks for sharing images taken w the nikkor 1.2. I think u haven't reach the optimal focal length to exploit the bokeh? Hee hee...

Shld arrange a ahootout w the Rokkor 1.2?

I tried bro Thoth rokkor 58 1.2 liao... Maybe I need 135 dc or nikon 200 F2 to fight rokkor bokeh.

Don't want to say one is bad or good but bokeh is not just smooth or blur out everything! If you seriously play with bokeh (bokeh sometimes is the main object), you will properly see that those lenses with so call "distracting" bokeh such as CZ Biotar 75/1.5, 50/2, Meyer-optik Trioplan 100/2.8, or the Cosina/Revuenon 55/1.2 are having more characteristic if using properly!

I think this is best example of individual's preference so it's hard to really quantify such... let me give a twist to the saying "You Cant teach an old Dog New Tricks" here's my version:You can teach an old dog new tricks but at the end of the day he/she still a dog cant change him to cat or something... hope you guys get what I mean... lolz

Isn't this thread ever so helpful to train up yr endurance bro? Dun worry about what others think about as long as you love the lens you are using to shoot and gets you to keep shooting. ;)
