The EVF is really good. I am hugely amazed its larger than my 7DOnly thing I din like was the 'rainbow tearing' effect
Anyway -> I tried taking a few shots and how come there's still a mechanical motion when the shutter is depressed? I know the mirror's locked down so why is there a mechanical motion?

I would say "WoW" to Sony this time. I hope I am right. This A33/55 looks like a good cameras. i've been looking for a light and HD Video capable camera to use as a backup. I'm intending to give to my wife.
Just some questions.
1) I assume MS color has A33? How abt A55?
2) Where's the best price to get this?
3) Does it have micro front/back lens focus adjustment?
4) Is Live View and Video Implementation the best in the market so far?
I'm intending to join Sony's camp within two months.

4) Is Live View and Video Implementation the best in the market so far? YES and YES (My opinion!) the Pana GH1 comes closest for the video implementation

A33 likely a temporary camera for me coz going holiday on 3rd week of Sept 10. Actually I am eyeing on A580. :angel:
Thought u initially wanted a55? Wat makes u switched to a580? Becos after playing with a33?
Tell us ur thoughts on a33.
To me i find its high iso800 and above is noisier than nex5, probably hecos i think a33 iso800 is equivalent to iso1600 of nex5 due to the camera compensating for the light loss.
