sony really need to revised their price ....the nikon and canon equivalents are much cheaper in comparison to our...

I have this lens and all i can say, its heavy... Not used to it, i tried shooting at 200mm 2.8 last night on our chruch's concert and i had a problem @ 200mm. i dont know if its due to camera shake since it's a heavy lens. Will try it our soon on a tripod and then i will know if its sharp or not.

AF is fast and silent. Nice...

Try monopod, it's a good company for event shoot.

ITS 1.2M , shortest focusing distance for all 70-200mm

Still not as good (slient) as the Canon's.

Well i can't have the best of everything, and having a SSM lens is already a big improvement for me and i think the image that it produces will be the judge of it.
Having a silent motor is just a bonus... and i'm happy about it. :)

ofcourse, all should have a room for improvements or else buying a perfect lens will either close down the company or we can't afford it. lol :bsmilie:
