Something wrong with the new buy n sell?

Thanks for the bug reports.

There is indeed a small bug which appears when you do the following

1. Filled in the Buy&Sell form with all relevant information.
2. Click on Preview to see the Ad
3. Error on clicking Submit button (msg asking to fill in Others for Equipment Brand field) even though an Equipment Brand already selected on the left.

If you DO NOT click on Preview, the error does not appear.

Will get this fixed asap ... or when the script-meister gets in

I keep getting a script error when submitting, and when I go back the equipment brand brand and Others pair is locked and unuseable hence annot preview.

Can you check if you are still seeing the script error? If so, please let me know the exact msg you are getting when you are submitting.

maybe its a windows compatability bug. Im on Win ME. The settings are default except for security which is set to low

Iceman27 & Stoned, I have the same IE version but am unabled to reproduced your problems. Are you using the default the IE settings or have you made any changes?

Hmm, don't remembering making any changes to the IE setting. Privacy setting is medium and I've got Sun Java Console running too.

That's about all. Still not working this morning.

Hi mods,

FYI, I switched my IE privacy setting to LOW and voila! I can post in the buy/sell thread. Don't know if this is the actual cause or just a fluke solution.

We can't replicate your problem (and we have tested successfully with all the major browsers - IE6, Mozilla/Firefox, Opera).

Here's a couple of things to try :-
1. Delete off the cookie related to ClubSNAP
2. Reset your IE web settings to default (Tools > Reset Web Settings ..)
3. Try another browser - either Opera or Mozilla

For those who access clubsnap via forums.clubsnap.com, try again with forums.clubsnap.org. It should work, at least for me.

Problem seems to be related to the persistent cookie set in IE. Have informed the admin.
