Anyone knows if MScolor has started carrying Kata products ?

How is having 2 Kata bags madness? I have a Panorama and a Sensitivity!:bsmilie: I'm looking to add more to my collection because I am in love with the design and the durability!

u rich la. like my friend. :bsmilie:

i agree with this...am look for backpack with laptop compartment for sometime...after tried out crumpler puppet, tamrac advanture 9 n checking the lowepro compudaypack and now using Kata DR-467...look like this Kata wil stay untill ..it is much lighter than the crumpler n tamrac...easier to open and close on either the cam or top part due to no weather flip...tho the mat'l not as tough as crumpler or tamrac but is better than the even lighter lowepro but very basic design..oya it come with a bright yellow rain cover that look like shower cap...one more thing price quite resaonable as compared to the other 3 models...(am refer to buy new)

How much do you pay for the DR-467? Quite interested to know :D

Bought the W-94....surprisingly roomy, could accomodate a 1D body with 70-200L 2.8 IS attached....still toom for one or two short prime lens at side pocket....of course it gets to be too heavy with this load to be strapped to the waist, but slung over the chest it works well for travelling.

Not rich lar, I buy things that are value for money. The Kata bags are value for money, so I buy lor.

the backpack looked nice but the space quite tight. so no go for me.

R series is tight...the DR is about the same as lowepro compudaypack..but at higher price but with better mat'l n design

yeah. i dun really need space for lappies. i want something to squeeze in a body n 3 lenses.

Has anyone bought the PANORAMA U? How much is it? I am tempted by it cos it looks like I can throw in quite a lot of non-camera stuff :bsmilie: I need a bag that allows me to put in a biggish prosumer (with the accompanying barang and an octopod) an ipod, books, stationary, the usual wallet and stuff, and the occasional laptop. Tried it out at the exhibition at suntec and thought that it may meet my needs...

anybody knows whether there are any promo on KATA bags? . . . keen on getting the sensitivity V :)

dropped by K13 a while ago . . . asked for the Sensitivity V . . . fitted all my stuffs in . . . and out comes my wallet . . . all in under 5mins :bsmilie: . . . my quickest purchase ever!

i really love this bag! . . . it could fit my 400D (w/ grip) with a mounted 17-55mm 2.8IS, 10-22mm,50mm 1.8, 580exII . . . along with my other barang like extra batts, cf cards, blower, mp3 player, pda phone . . . and it still has ample space inside . . . as for the laptop compartment, i guess we could only fit in those smaller 12" ones . . . have not tried as i don't have one . . . when i get home later, i'll try to see whether I could attach my tripod to it

anyway, I'd highly recommend the Sensitivity V to those who carries similar gears as I do . . . the bag is not bulky at all, and yet it can pack a lot of stuffs . . . it's very comfortable to wear . . . and it looks cool too :) . . . i guess the only issue I could point out is (which I've read on the net) that the material which in is contact with your back is not really breathable . . . i just got the bag, so i can't really say whether it's that bad

the Prism U seems quite good too! . . . when i went in the shop, there was a french couple looking at one . . . i guess they were probably shocked on how quick i made my purchase, hehe . . .

cheers! :)

How much was the damage?

If your tripod is not too big, you can squeeze one in the water bottle pouch, and then use a velcro to keep the tripod from falling out.
