I briefly browsed thru the Kata backpacks. Unique design but seems like they cater a lot for users who wish to carry laptops also. (i don't need that and I foresee a lot of wasted space?)

anyone knows if they have a model which can fit a tripod?

the sensitivity V does have a laptop compartment . . . but it isn't really bulky (at all!) . . . i managed to squeeze a tripod in the side pocket

perhaps a trip to a camera shop would really help . . . where you could view and scrutinize every single inch of the bags, heh . . . bring your gear along to see if everything fits . . .
