:dunno: no lah ... each filter serve its purpose

Grad ND - Balance the exposure between the sky and the foreground
ND - allow to take longer exposure
Polariser - cut down unnecessary reflection ...

Something is sure wrong about the exposure... 6 sec at f22 in broad daylight with ASA 100? Unless you used a polariser plus ND filter plus ........ another polariser :D

sorry, didn't go to "Page 2" and see megaweb reply..... but I was right he used 'those' filters. Cunny !

But do use filters at extra care especially if you used more than 2 filters at a time... each filter used degrades your lens quality, which you paid hundreds and thousands for it.

Now, I try not to use any filter on my lens, not even UV or Skylight filter... it 'cheapens' my 'expensive' lens ! ;)

Strange. Quite a lot of professionals use filters to get the desired effect. Unless of course you digitally alter the picture.

it's pretty amazing the pple didn't move much in 6s :dent:

Yes they do... but they also use filters sparringly especially those orange, sunset, star, purple filters, which can be used to very good effects.

Don't need to post so many times.

Hi Megaweb,

i was thinking, at 6s, i don't think those people who moved alot would appear on the pic. i believe it's cos they move so much (relative to the 6s) that whatever image captured would be overwritten immediately by the background again, as he moves.

Does the positioning of the filters affect the outcome of the picture? The sequence in which you place the three filters.....

curious...:dunno:
