hmmmm .... maybe i am just a simple mac user so no issue on usb

* Be simple be happier

Dun want to take the risk. Maybe I will upgrade when they decided to release the next version "MAC OS Pussycat"

if they can solve the USB problem that my good friend Acidbyte is having permanently, I will upgrade.

Kernel panics or pop sounds on USB-connected audio devices? I haven't heard about any problem recently but those two issues happen every release of Mac OS X.

Leopard got USB problem ? Mine so far so very good leh

so far, my leo also OK with USB. I only used USB for portable hard disk, thumb drive and mouse.

Those USB problems sound typical of any release.

10.4.10 made a lot of things worse. My Logitech headset had to be unplugged and plugged into the USB hub again to have it recognised. Leopard sees it, but only forgets to use it. :bsmilie:

I'm just glad that unplugging a USB device (while not in use) no longer causes the whole system to crash.

I used since 2005, haven't hanged once. I dun even know how to reset or hard reboot my mac. :bsmilie:

Think when I have my first hang, I will make big noise here.

You know where the power switch is.

I wish I could say that I've never had a Mac hang or crash, but in 14 years, I've had plenty, even with Mac OS X.

Don't bet on the iPhone in countries that don't have an iTunes store. ;)

Ive seen macs crash! Hangs are too often! My school runs on 100% macs and look at the replacements and repairs for macs at the IT department you'ed be shocked. Macs are Os'es too no matter how hard they try to make sure it doesn't hang, although the rate it hangs ownes windows beyond thinkable it does once in a blue moon. And when u have few generation of macs and hundreds of them, u see crashes and hangs alot. So for the score Macs owns windows in terms of stability ;) but its not god.

For those who want to show Singapore Holiday date in iCal calendars.

Just open iCal, create subscriptions to this link

webcal://ical.mac.com/ical/Singapore32Holidays.ics

For other Countries , the link is over here

:)

Edited :

The subscriptions seem not that accurate

-20/12/2007 Hari Raya Haji missing

-Deepavali reflected as 1/11/207 instead of 8/11/2007

iBlade should come with a little flash light.
