Should I? Why should I compare? it is just a camera and lens... so who cares who use what and what setting... one will take pictures differently from the other and it is funny to every want to know the setting...

Actually, all the brands out there are good, it's just the visibility created from the majority of people already using the product. The Best and Safest choice out there cannot save you from flunking your photos due to poor operator skill though. So practicing is still the most important thing to do.

You are not alone. I have T-loan my friend's D40 to try out for 2 weeks before setting my mind which DSLR to buy.
In the end, I got myself a A300...of which if I could have "shared" lenses with my friends if I had joined the dark side.
So I am like all "alone" now to invest in my own lenses...

Well, at least it means that you don't have to borrow your lens to some bonzo only to get it back in 100,000 pieces ... lol.
I'm not too overly concerned about the fact that I am usually the only one still holding an 'ole Minolta and high rated glass. It's the same with my film box, no one has that one either .. hahaha ...
You select a camera that is not the most popular kid on the block. Should you be concerned? I guess not, follow your desire, pursue your dreams. Shoot the way you want and if others have a problem with that, pity for them.

LOL, I have never blame any cameras, Wat I go for is reliable and good prices, call myself lucky that have purchase the require lens from CZ.Despite being bombard many times in CS in the Night photography, I only blame myself for being not up to marks. As for the days picture is sharps still need to polish more.Nowadays, With PP u can make beautiful pictures, not really necessary to pay for a moon in digital cameras .That is why I select Sony. Believe me Sony with Carl Zeiss Lens Auto focus lens is fantastic.:thumbsup::thumbsup::sweatsm: Will temporary stop postin picture until I have improve in my photo processing.

You sound very demoralised. I believe you can take beautiful pictures even without PP and beautiful pictures can be taken even with the kit lens.

Post processing is not to make bad pictures looks good but to make good picture looks even better.
Photography is not about post processing and post processing is not a must for photography.
PP was never important and necessary until digital.
Many computer wiz love photography because they can do lots of PP.
True photographer makes PP as part of the process but not the most important.
True photographer, regardless whatever gear and equipment, bother only capturing the best and wonderful moment and no PP can do it.

1 thing i think most of us overlook is :
Sony though in DSLR in a later decade but there are some advantages of owning a small market. There is like a mac comparison with the dominant PC Market.
Sony maybe able to intergrate better stuffs which large market share people cannot due to the competition they are going to face. It will results in poor products sometimes and also built a tight digital workflow intergration like maybe in future their DSLR can intergrate with their video markets.
As can be seen in their newer entry level DSLRs. A beginner guide inside a camera. Up to now no company from the DSLRs ever try it and some more come out with colours DSLR.
Most DSLRs are all black and dull.
Some more like the A900 Or below models, all their white balance is quick to setup as compared to canon where you basically will be scrolling menus just to find it. You will have no time to do it when you are shooting an event.
Sony DSLRs are very intergrated.

well said my brothers, it is times to consider to switch camp to Sony as they are coming in a great ways, do not miss the boat or u will regrets for been late. Look at the CZ Af with sharp picture and the only auto for sony camera LOL.:bsmilie:

Sony and Carl Zesis had a long term partnership for at least years... Carl Zesis will provided better lenses to sony than to others. Sony vario Sonnar series lenses are the premium standard of lenses in the market which is on all their exisitng HD Video cams except some new ones which are using sony own G Lenses. If you compare the pictures taken with this series of lenses with canon own lenses you know one thing. Their Lenses produced true natural colors as compared to canon and also other qualities like good contrasts,etc...
