Is it a common mime? Suddenly I'm interested :bsmilie:. Captured with a lynx beside it, nice!

hi Bro, that's the blue glassy tiger -smiles-
you'll get very involved in the naming of the butts once you get to shoot them -giggles-
yeah.. i didn't know that there was a lynx until i reviewed the picture during pp -laughs-
it's pretty murderous looking, right?

i am using a dedicated macro lens of 125mm which doubles up as my portrait lens as well. when i shoot butterflies or insects, i approach them very slowly. -smiles-
and of coz, there are some butterflies which are pretty active, so i have to be patient :)

Very nice close up. Very menacing

wa jayne you are really having fun with your macro lens

very nice, sharp images, enjoying it, no chance to shoot macro here :sweatsm: :)

been a little bit busy with work so have not been really checking the computer until it's too late. sorry for the dao.

wow, i'm really impressed with your macro shots. where do you usually shoot?
sadly i still haven't been able to shoot much butt shots lately.

thanks nightmare dear..
probably like you mentioned just now, i should change the title to "A Macro A Day" hehe..
then i'd probably run out of pics (probably not, since i'm mostly using my macro lens as protrait lens too)

must take care of your health ya! :)

hiii.. thanks for the compliments. wouldn't know what things might have been like without the macro lens.
i usually shoot anywhere. one thing nice about macro is that it can be done almost anywhere.
those picts that you've seen, are done mostly in gardens (botanical gardens, pulau ubin) or any gardens really
you love doing macro shoots too? tt's really great to hear.

This is really nice, clean and sharp
thanks bro!
I second that  Do you use any closeup filters or ext tubes?
i used to use a macro teleconverter when i was using a zoom lens to take macros. -->colour changing lizzy
now i seldom do it. a good macro len would do the trick.
