Can you just ask them to do a special order? I asked them to order an omnibounce for me before, took about 3 weeks. No addition cost I think.

The 16-45DA lens is really good. You can try mine if we have chance to shoot out sometime together.

actually reserved 1 at CP.
even called up J&J to check see if they got it in stock, but they dun have it. have to wait for the next shipment.

was thinking of getting it cos my gf may need a wide angle for an assignment, and all my lens after the crop factor has changed to either tele or standard lens.

do u guys plan to get the P TTL sigma flash or the pentax?

I've been using the FA 50 1.4 for years now. Certainly prefer it over the Nikon one. Always loved the fact that Pentax aperture rings provide the half stops.

Never used 'protective' filters over it, and with the usual dust and wipe the front element will look as pristine as new. If you ask me I'd say that such filters are not neccessary, since I would never be going into sandstorms, where glass coatings and everytihng else get eroded off.

None of my lenses got a filter either. I don't believe in paying so much for superior lens coating, and then add a cheap filter in front of it permanently.

Then again, I'm saying this because I shoot a Pentax, where its normal glasses aren't that expensive. Others with multi-digit dollar value, do-everything glass may beg to differ.

Too bad CP dun carry the 31. would be closer to what i normally shoot at w my BSF.

meanwhile im having lots of fun with the 50/1.7. Been carrying it ard.
Been using a filter and a hood cos i dun use a lens cap to prevent dust from getting in, and im too lazy to clean the lens.haa
