Where do you send you slide to develop into prints - cost & quality etc (how you find it)? I don't mind paying more but if its cheap then why not? :)

I don't want anymore screw up with my slide after my recent bad encounter with my regular developer... (neg was scratched - i was to be blame.. i'm not sure so didn't argue. i was in the desert afterall. color was weird looking too)

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Are you looking for the old school type of slide to print via chemical process or slide scanned to prints? I heard that for old school type there's this lab called Spectra Colour down at Kallang area. I've yet to visit the lab or find if it still exist.

Cheers!

pardon my ignorance... what's the difference? this is my first brush with slide.. :)

Hi,

The old way is similar to darkroom process, using optics and chemicals. Now, it's usually done by scanning the slide and printing it using mini-lab machines.

Cheers!
