Exhibition so short....

ahaha. i submitted at 9.57pm. :P abit too exciting for my liking.
no plastic bag, they clip the boards together anyway.

picked 5 pictures, the last 1, i submitted my safe picture. boring but safe. *SIGH* i so regret not following my heart now and submitting my favourite picture. its not well taken enough to potray my idea, but the idea was good. and i just like that picture aloT!!! im such an idiot. WHYY. ahha. nevermind. as long as the next sypa is within 6years then i can still participate. :bsmilie:

who enhanced their pictures? who didnt?
i printed all directly from film. at most before the lab printed, they brighten, darken. :P

wonder how many people participated?
estimate got 1000 or not?
how many 13-25yr old photographers/enthusiast do you think there are?

hope to see the winning works exhibitions! would be exciting eh! ;)

i nearly submitted one of my HDR images in the entry, but i got lobangs from those who are there that even if they allow digital manipulations, HDR like is not exactly what the judges want to see, but rather the composure of the image the the techniques we used  thats what i know ar...

As I said before, they are looking for the most capable photographer, so you're right on not submitting your HDR shots. Regrettably all the images I submitted, they had some form of enhancement like editing contrast, burning and dodging as well as sharpening. I hope there's nothing wrong in that.

Btw I expect around 1000 people to have taken part, no reasons, just a pure estimate. Sure lose de.

Hahah! You submitted just on time!!!

For me, a few of my shots are original, a few edited. Most are just adjusting contrast / gamma and sharpening. :)

It's partly because of the age limit that I was adamant on participating this time, despite knowing that my stuff isn't exactly good enough to strut around at a competition. In a year or two, I'd be overage anyway, so it's a good idea to participate now while I still can.
