Thanks for the kind remarks WK, SK and desaturated. Punggol is a lovely place.

Hi Wk. yup was initially meant to be a single take but in the end got greedy and wanted to take the little branch on the right of the kelong as well

Retrospectively could have gotten down a little lower to take the shot at a small risk of getting more wet :bsmilie:

Good composition but do you think it is a little underexpose and everything seems blur or is that your intention to make it dreamy like?

Observe there is a vignet which is good thing where the image can bring/lead viewer to the main object you captured. But the main subject is too far away (too much foreground) and the 'pole' on the front left and on the right side, is a little distracting.

If you could capture the reflection of the sunrise, which will leads to the main subject would be nice.

Anyway, enjoy your great series of images in your thread..:)

Always enjoy your panoramas and TS works. Can't believe I haven't commented here yet.

Gotta start on my own panoramic stiches...

Thx for comments soulFLY. I admit it wasn the best of attempts to integrate the foreground branch into the background, and as mentioned, maybe i might go a little lower.

I have tried previous versions of sunrise kelong in the previous trip, and wanted to try something different this time. Wasn time for sunrise actually, the little bit of brightness was probably a small dull glimmer of the impending sunlight brought out by the more than a minute over exposure.

Maybe the land there is too stressed up or something.

I was a little off the path, too many mosquitoes, dun think if I walk any further I will be able to see any villages

Beautiful

Your photos really tempts me to save for a PC lense, photoshop just doesn't seem to go close to the real thing, or maybe I am just not good at it

Thanks alexljy. I never tried the PP way before but i think it can get pretty close in some instances :bsmilie:

Punggol Beach. At a pretty early hour ..
Rocks were side lighted from lights from the bridge and the police post.
