love this

personally prefer more contrast though, but you generally have relatively low contrast here, i think. :)

Thanks,
there are construction going on there now,
so might be gone by this time next year ...

an old photo taken some time back

always wanted to go back and re-shot this ,
to remove the stupid hotspot caused by sigma ...
but *sigh*... , now construction all over the place
another "history" shot

love it too, i guess any more contrast the black won't look too nice, try adjusting your "mostly-black" photos, after adjusting awhile, they start to look quite fake.;p

i like the first one

gives you a feeling that it's not singapore

Thanks :)

Thank you, that was my intend :)

Thanks, that's Istana in case you are wondering ;)

hmm, I am curious. Istana is not a place anyone can walk in anytime. When it is opened to the public, you will see throngs of them. How did you manage to take this shot without a soul in sight ? Early bird bonus ? :)

You meant IR in general?
You can refer to the sticky threads in this forum for a start. :)

Basically
1. Understanding what is IR
2. Equipment used (external IR filter or mod camera)
3. Post processing used (the most common ones - Original, Channel swap, BnW )

Thanks, I am using a D40x currently.. I had read thru some sticky thread.
Can I just use a external IR filter instead of moding my camera ?
So after I use IR filter , I still need to post-process at step 3 ?
