Loved ur pics of nice food. Definitely not easy cos of constrained spaces n lighting. hope i can learn a ting or 2 abt food photog frm ur pics.

You might try this method:

Put your head 1 foot away from the screen.

Put your index finger halfway between the screen and your face.

Look at your finger.

Now remove your finger but don't move your eyes. Look as if you are still looking at your finger.

the images will overlap and the centre image will have a 3D effect.

If you take 2 pics 2.5 inches apart, you should be able to. Just imagine one pic is from the left eye and the other pic is from the right
 

i have been read your blog since 1 month ago.

nice blog and i always admire you because you really know how to write and shoot good photo, somemore those bosses posed for you.

next time when i go to singapore, your blog will definitely be my food guide.

Just completed shooting a series of hawker food pictures from Chinatown Complex Temp Market and East Coast Lagoon Food Village.

The one at Chinatown taken with 350D with 28-105mm USM lens and the ones at East Coast taken with 350D with 60mm f2.8 Macro Lens

it was midnight when i came across ur blog.. and feeling hungry as usual.. seeing those photos makes me even more tempted. haha.. so being a "friend", i showed the link to all my the other friend and everyone scolded back as tat makes them even more hungry. hahah

I like this pic though some people have remarked that the foreground could be lighten up with a bit of reflected light. I thought it was more dramatic left dark. What do you all think?
