Ted888,
Are these shots taken in the afternoon after the aerobatic display?
I saw a pair hovering above the tree line during the display. I did not see anyone of them carried the branch.
I have taken a shots of them alternating between the "metal" and feather birds in flight
Thank You

Nice WBSE shots ted!
Thank you all.
the WBSE with blue background is very nice.
Directly above my head, is blue sky as compared to sea horizon which is hazy.

Your eyes are not sharp enough to be a pilot :bsmilie:
It was taken in the morning display not afternoon. The WBSE flew out to the sea (towards the jetty) with the branch when those thin Indonesia TNI planes were getting out of sight and before USAF fat plane started to arrive. I didn't follow all the way the WBSE and started shooting the USAF. But within minutes, the WBSE flew back to the shore on my left without branch (ses below picture). So it dropped the branch somewhere near the end of Jetter I think. Unfortunately I missed it.
Saw one flew around 9.45am before the display started. I thought the jet sound would frighten it off
But saw a pair during that USAF fatboy flew past.
Frankly, I was more excited to have this BIF instead.
Ted888,
I gather you have being there few times. Are this pair a residence there?
From my past week experience and confirmed by SeaDog,if you go back to the same spot, the same bird would not be there.
Any chance this pair will be still there this weekend?http://cdn.clubsnap.net/forums/images/cs/smilies/wink.gif
Thank You

Haha, only last Saturday and today I went there and both time they are there. We don't see it until teh show starts. And they are either residence there, or residence at Pulao Tekong or Pulao Ubin and morning came here becuase got Airshow to perform:bsmilie:
I pretty sure, you will see them this weekend. But with branch or not I am not sure. May be with fish this time :bsmilie:
Bomber.
Just realise the trick while writing these is morning blue sky is top of our heads, but not close to the sea horizon:bsmilie: like those with branch.
I think the show is close to noon already, the seawater vapor causes the haze to be built up from sea horizon up. Since almost noon, only top of my head still have some good blue sky. During shooting, didn't think about it despite talking about it to one photographer besides meCould it be the direction of the sun?
My friend told me that the sun was infront, probably the sea horizon, that could be one of the reasons not having blue skies. Instead it was on top.
I think this (pair) of WBSE is stealing the limelight of the show.
My colleague asked to me go tomorrow morning to shoot, not the planes, but this WBSE.
One angmo photographer had one shot with the WBSE in the fore ground with the Korean Black Eagles zooming behind with red & blue smoke.
Thank You
