Anyone going? For the benefit of those who doesnt want to pay to go in, any location near changi that we can take photos of the flying display in the sky?

I may be able to get trade pass. In the aviation industry.

any lens restriction?

based on experience, it is good enough to shoot from beach and breakwaters nearby during the showtimes...

You can bring as big/long a lens as you can carry. No Restrictions for the last 4 airshows I've been to.

Provided you've got a long enough lens .... especially for the individual planes.

yap, going for sure. only thing is the long walk one will need to take to go into the "free" area. parking is very limited.

Good for U,my friend! FREE!!! :)

Trade passes aren't free. They are in fact even more expensive. Most of the time they are paid for at corporate level as gifts, hence you do not often hear of people pay for them. :nono:

Icic..so i guess changi beach can see rite?

go to changi beach next to Changi Ferry Terminal.
that is the closest place to see the actions cos the planes usually only make their stunts right in front of the Changi Exhibition Centre.

cheers..
