Yeah it's difficult to digest and like b&w photos,even myself always have difficult time choosing between b&w and leave it in colour as it is..but I just like the simple mood and feel to it hehe
Yes it is done intentionally..I didnt want to add too much contrast for it as it caused serious banding. So I went for a more 'softer' approach, but still trying to retain some texture and detail to the subject interest. Maybe If I have more knowledge and control in my processing I will add more 'punch' and contrast to my b&w's

For 11 and 14, I feel that the transition between the sky and sea is abrupt, probably due to the diff in tone. would prefer a smoother transition.

hahah yeah... I find that B&Ws are an 'acquired taste'.
