Simple Kit Lens review?

These are 100% crops of the corners of the shot that Hart took. The image degrades from the centre to the edges of a lens for most lenses... considering that this a cheap kit zoom, it's pretty good... it means u can print up to A3+ size and get a relatively good picture....

I am quite happy with the image from this lens as long as I shoot at f5.6 or above.

Oh, I think I set the Sharpness to +1 and the rest I just cut and save and post. no other post processing.

I think it is pretty darn good for the kit lens.

CA is very minimal.

This lens is so light, I am happy to bring it everywhere.. still won't replace my 28-135 or 24-135, but for the range (27-105 equiv), it is good.
