Yes, you're right! but if you notice carefully, there's always a slight change somewhere. ususally increase in amount of rebate or change items. The promo has been going on well for Sigma, so why stop the rebate?

Yup, also a good way to (maybe) clear older models too.
If not wrong Tamron also has similar rebate promo, but not sure is it still on going now.
