I think you can go on amazon or ebay and find some great deals, getting it in HK is a good idea too.

I went to ask too, but so far only Cathay photos are selling it. Can't really remember the exact name, but I went to check out the store around cityhall. It's selling for $1300 and there's currently no stock, have to pre-order it.

Why not try some good deals over ebay or amazon? You should look out for bundles that includes an extra battery and the hood adapter for a practical start up.

Just to note, as amazon only sell the sigma camera to US market. Buyer can use the vpost service to complete the purchase.

But however, as vpost does not mail battery due to safety reason. Pls do not buy extra battery and send through vpost.

I have mine rejected before.

Me just bought a DP2S from amazon, shipment will arrive after Xmas.
look forward to this thread, hope to learn a few tips from exisitng/previous owner.

realised it is extremely small community here using this cam. guess this gem (hopefully it is) , is rarely appreciated. is it the Foveon sensor not convicing or due to fixed focal or incapability to shot good noise controlled pic at ISO800 and above..?

I bought a DP2 + viewfinder + lens hood / adapter about 1.5 months ago, and am thinking of selling the whole set. Looking for around SGD1350 OBO for everything, all in. PM me? Camera and accessories are in mint condition, never dropped or abused, only pure TLC. all original accessories, warranty, and box included. Purchased from the US through Amazon.

Try Parisilk at Holland Village. They still sell the DP2 and probably would still have the accessories.
The original Sigma optical view finder is not worth the money as far as I'm concerned. If you must have one and can't find the Sigma one, you can always get an equivalent Voigtlander view finder which is about the same price but even better in quality from Chiif Cameras at Excelsior Shopping Centre.

Anyone else can share on their view of the viewfinder? Also personal style of using the Dp2.

I have been using it the last few days, the batteries dry up like nobodys business. But i think this camera will go down in history as a cult camera that produce a unique and beautiful picture quality like no other digital camera I have use before.
