Sigma DC 17-70/2.8-4.5 Macro lens ...

Fengwei, I noticed the barrel distortion at 17mm.
Is it a big problem?

For a cheap lens like this, it's okay I guess. You'd only see it when shooting some straight lines in close range. BTW, it's easily fixable w/ software

I just bought this Sigma, thinking that DA* 16-50 won't be in my budget for a long time.
It is $585 from TK and they still have another copy.
Pretty good lens. I like the range. Will post some pics later on.

Now, gonna save for 50-200 and I'm set until end of year for the DA*

Glad you've got that lens, it's a very good travel/walkabout lens, better range than the 16-45.
