That time stock was very low. Call the shops to check it out first.

I guess the Sports version has been sold out and hence he recommended the Contemporary.

Btw, the Contemporary ver is cheaper than Tamron.

TK only got 1 sport version for canon and nikon mount each n I guess bro cactibin got it when he saw the sale guy unpacked it out.

Thanks so much bro.. Got it from OP today, last piece ! This guy is heavy, about the same size/weight as the Sigma 120-300/2.8 and similar build/hood. I'm getting very sharp results at f/10 and not f/8 but i suspect its coz i've not done aftune/calibration yet. This will take awhile like my Tamron did.

Shooting with a monopod + tilt head. Quite comfortable setup/weight

I need help here.. I can't decide which version to choose. I know the sport will give sharpness at 600 mm and weather seseal.what will I miss in the contemporary version? Price difference is 1000 dolar.worth it?
