i also thought of getting 1, just came back from japan and tired of hogging my a700, walked around for 8 hrs each day !!

LOL. I also cannot tahan my current setup and with tripod, sometime need a rest even 1 hrs walk. With new APS-C body (A77 type), 70-400mm and fisheye next time, I wondering whether I could start walking or not. Must learn to bring the right type of lenses next time, not all else .....

i dont remember sighting nex-7 in japan. maybe i never look thoroughly or sold out. saw A77, wasn't really cheap over there.

Huh? Why carry a 70-400mm for? Going travelling must travel light... the 70-300 G enough...

Looks like the floods in Thailand really screwed up the production big time... everyone seems to be hungry for this camera but nowhere in sight anywhere in the world... except US I think...
