yes it's possible but I think only for body and lenses other accessories not so sure. What you need to do is when you buy in HK you visit Sony HK CS and asked them for Tourist Warranty they will convert it to your country local warranty in your case Singapore.
Is it free or do you have to pay for it? And what documentations do you need to present?

I think this has been discussed here in Sony forum you could try to search but so far I have not read anyone that they were charged of any fees or taxes. Documentations is the proof of purchase and stamp from the outlet you bought it (I guess).
Personally I have not tried buying my DSLR or lens fomr HK yet only some accessories.

You just bring it to SonyStyle HK. Sony SG can most likely support it as the techs would already be undergoing training...
its not released yet, doubt there will be cheap sets or kit when its released in Singapore. expect to fork out 1.8k for NEX with kit lens

No, no and no. You should look into the priceguides section, we list recommended shops there. FYI, your ideas are funny. Sim Lim and Lucky Plaza especially are the biggest con-jobs around, it's where dumb tourists who never did any research go to lose money.
Lucky Plaza should be your last resort, even if your life depended on it, you may want to give it a miss.
You will be overcharged, get incomplete kits, be charged a few hundred for a cheap filter, be told that your battery and charger are separate purchases, be sold a fake warranty and maybe even be charged $100 for a screen protector etc.

Bro... i thought that was for the launch of PS Vita and their games release?
Anyway i had got my Nex-7 in Macau (when no one actually knows they had launched) but i'm not sure if i'm been carrot head..... they selling me a whole package Nex-7 (body only), SEL 18-200), 8GB SD Class 4 card, additional original battery, manfrotto white 4-sections compact tripod, Sony Alpha camera bag (big enough for Nex-7 and 18-200 lens) and a Marumi 67mm UV filter for the 18-200...all for $3.2k. i pay extra 3% for credit card purchase else this whole package will cost abt $2.8-2.9k.
