Sightings of the new NEX 7

Anyway, the next lens I intend to get is the 50F1.8... the performance, as seen from the reviews out there, is very good! And it comes in silver only so I guess being obsessed about colour matching is pointless. After all, the Canon guys are perfectly at ease with their black bodies and the cream colour lens

tried it in SONY day SUNTEC yestrday, handling is better, and yea, the dual dial is fabulous!
body only price - 1699SGD. the 18-55 kit lens in black looks nice too.

of cos you can have a NEX 7 priced at $1400 or $1000 with a "sorry, no stock". try that in simlim square ah beng shops.

as I mentioned before, if you can wait, wait. if not. pay RRP. That was when stock was available.
demand & supply man. willing seller plus willing buyer. nothing wrong with that. There are people who are very rich and 2000 is nothing to them and they are willing to pay for ex-stock. no harm trying. haha
if you dont feel the price is right, you have every rights not to buy. simple logic as that.

While I understand willing buyer and willing seller wat u re doing is known as profiteering which is frowned upon.

those who want to profit from dishonest gains will not only be frowned upon, the guy who buys it will get upset and you know what... he can bring a case against you in the Subordinate Courts for profiteering from selling at that price.

I dont know why people get so work-up with that SGD 2000 price tag for ex-stock? What's so wrong with it? You dont like, you dont buy,simple as that. Do you want to sue Sony too? The manufacturing & R&D cost is less than $500. Sue Sony for not selling at $600?

Try call case up & tell them this scenario. Let's see what they will tell you.
I guess you don't really know law. Where do you get that idea from? Do you know what is profiteering and different between open price & sales terms? Define"dishonest gain" will ya..

Not sure whether one can be sued for selling something more expensive than elsewhere. Willing buyer, willing seller. So long as there is no misrepresentation by seller, buyer has no case.

u just gave yourself the answer whether suing someone for selling at a higher price is possible. well, it IS possible. lawyers can fight on any grounds to prove that you're guilty, even if you aren't.

other than that, you have to calculate labor costs, shipping costs, taxes, manufacturing, depreciation of machinery, and advertising fees among others. and of course, you need to push up the price a little if not, you won't have a profit. does that answer your question?
